today was a pretty good day. granted i didnt get up when i wanted, but it wasnt much later than planned, just a couple hours. my room is clean and all rearranged. it looks great. i got up to my newly fixed room and showered, hung out with a sexy nerd and then visited with some family friends that came in from ireland today. they are a blast. especially the one. shes in her fifties, but she acts more like a teenager. shes already talking about going and getting drunk, high and inked up. im game for all three, especially the last two lol. my cousins came over tonight as well to hang out with our friends. my godson is so tall now and so grown up looking, its scary. i remember him when he was a teeny tiny little baby. seeing him makes me feel old.. and i know im not. not yet anyway.
hanging out with my cousins used to be a bit much, but now that they are older.. its not so bad. i can hold a conversation with them that isnt about some stupid movie they just watched. they used to just repeat movie lines. now i can actually talk to them. for the better part of the night my godson and i talked about all kinds of different music and swapped some songs as well. the rest of the night was spent hanging out with our friends from ireland. the little girl that came over is a handful.. constantly questioning everything she can think of and shouting orders left and right. the rest of them are adults. i cant understnd half of what the two of them are saying. but the one, i can understand everything.. shes my favorite and not just cause i know what shes talking about lol.
i wish i could go back to ireland and visit them there. one day, i will. and ill hit up england too ;p it may take awhile. but with my to-do list in full effect.. ill get there. my list is slowly being accomplished. most of the stuff on it isnt a one time deal to begin with… so im working my way thru it.. and when its done.. itll be a time to celebrate.. and what better way than a trip!
tomorrow i work on my squidoo page and my origami. i need to send out more resumes. ive already sent out a bunch, the few that have sent replies back all seem to be scams.. so im hoping these next few that im waiting on wont be. i know at least two of them arent. so.. fingers crossed! ;D
