aside from from the new found knowledge about the smoking and the new drink recipe, it was a good day. im slowly learning how to crochet. its a bit tricky at first, but i got the hang of it.. kinda. im still confused on some of the maneuvers.. but ill figure it out eventually. i will make a scarf by the time im done learning.. or maybe ill just call it a scarf regardless of what it looks like lol.the origami has kind of taken a backseat to the crocheting.. both are a bit difficult for me and not just cause of steps involved in doing it, but because of how much you have to use your fingers to do all the little details involved. its just slightly difficult to grasp the yarn or the paper sometimes. but im working my way thru learning both regardless. i can totally do them both. it might take me months to finish a scarf or whatever origami design i decide to make.. but i dont care. itll make it that much better and itll be that much more of an accomplishment for me when its all said and done.

i think i wrote in a previous blog that im nervous about getting my new wheelchair. im not so much any more. ive been researching them the past couple of nights and i like what im seeing. my chair is cool enough as is, but its also about ten years old or so. some of the features on the newer ones are the same as mine.. but the electronic set up of it is different.. and so much fuckin cooler. so im pretty excited about the new one now lol.

as for tomorrow… more crocheting, more visiting, more drinking (probably), smoking (hopefully) and who knows what else! ;D

hanging out with my cousins used to be a bit much, but now that they are older.. its not so bad. i can hold a conversation with them that isnt about some stupid movie they just watched. they used to just repeat movie lines. now i can actually talk to them. for the better part of the night my godson and i talked about all kinds of different music and swapped some songs as well. the rest of the night was spent hanging out with our friends from ireland. the little girl that came over is a handful.. constantly questioning everything she can think of and shouting orders left and right. the rest of them are adults. i cant understnd half of what the two of them are saying. but the one, i can understand everything.. shes my favorite and not just cause i know what shes talking about lol.

i wish i could go back to ireland and visit them there. one day, i will. and ill hit up england too ;p it may take awhile. but with my to-do list in full effect.. ill get there. my list is slowly being accomplished. most of the stuff on it isnt a one time deal to begin with… so im working my way thru it.. and when its done.. itll be a time to celebrate.. and what better way than a trip!

tomorrow i work on my squidoo page and my origami. i need to send out more resumes. ive already sent out a bunch, the few that have sent replies back all seem to be scams.. so im hoping these next few that im waiting on wont be. i know at least two of them arent. so.. fingers crossed! ;D
