seriously, being in a wheelchair sometimes forces you into these situations where you have to come up with whatever you can to get some things done. for these occasions i have my tools of the trade which include my scissors, back scratcher and telestik. i use all three of these on a daily basis.

the back scratcher tends to be temperamental tho. its a very delicate balancing act when trying to pick things up off the ground with it. my hands shake as is, so majority of the time it takes at least five tries minimum. sometimes it doesnt work tho and then i have to come up with something clever. over the years i have used so many things that you would not normally think to use. one time barbecue tongs saved my one hitter from falling off the deck. ive used a skewer to pick up a lighter, scissors to pick up a shirt [without cutting it] and a bunch of other random things to get stuff done.

the same concept applies to transferring. when i was younger and went to camp in the summer, i needed a bench because my feet didnt reach the floor and i ended up using my caboodle. does anyone even remember those? anyway, this post is somewhat pointless, but also not. all i know is that being in the chair it really makes you have to keep an open mind because you never know what the kind of situation you might be in. sometimes a spatula can rescue your cell phone from off the floor or a screwdriver can pick up an apple. all i know is that even tho being in a chair does blow, it also really forces you to think outside the box a lot of the time. and from what i gather, thats not such a bad thing.

anyway! its bedtime for me.. i have logos to work on tomorrow! oh, yea! i forgot to mention, i made him the best logo ever for his page and im currently working on some for mine.. and they look incredible. ;D yay! ok, sleepydoodles for me, lmao.
